Bayview Asset Management LLC seeks:

POSITION: Senior Associate, Analytics

DESCRIPTION:

  • Develop and maintain full-stack web applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement features.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code across multiple layers of the stack.
  • Implement cloud-based solutions for scalable, reliable, and secure applications.
  • Create and manage RESTful APIs and ensure seamless integration with front-end applications.
  • Design, implement, and optimize databases, ensuring data integrity and security.
  • Work with modern frontend frameworks to build responsive, user-friendly interfaces.
  • Automate deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines, ensuring efficient and reliable releases.
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications, ensuring quick resolution of issues.
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve software quality and development processes.
  • This position allows for a hybrid schedule with three (3) days in office and two (2) days remote.

 REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, and 2 years of industry experience. Requires experience in/with:

  • At least one Object-Oriented Programming language such as Java, C#, or Python, and related frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot for Java, .NET Core for C#, Django/Flask for Python);
  • Front-end development experience with JavaScript and at least one modern front-end framework, such as React.js, Angular, or Vue.js.;
  • Relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB);
  • Version control proficiency, primarily with Git, including branching, merging, and managing pull requests.; and
  • Software development practices, including design patterns, unit testing and agile methodologies.
  • This position allows for a hybrid schedule with three (3) days in office and two (2) days remote.

 

HOURS:         Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week

LOCATION: New York, New York This position allows for a hybrid schedule with three (3) days in office and two (2) days remote.

SALARY RANGE:   $165,000 - $175,000 per year
