We are seeking a Senior Associate, Corporate Development, to join our Corporate Development team. They’ll be directly involved in evaluating, executing, and integrating acquisitions across the firm, as well as working closely with senior leadership and service line leaders. This position offers end-to-end exposure across the M&A lifecycle—from initial evaluation, to diligence, deal execution, and post-close integration and tracking. Responsibilities are, but not limited to: Deal Evaluation & Financial Analysis Analyze financial statements, operating results, and key performance metrics of potential acquisition targets. Build and maintain financial models to evaluate valuation, transaction structures, investment returns, and strategic fit. Assess earnings quality, working capital trends, cash flow generation, and key financial risks. Prepare analyses, presentations, and recommendations for executive leadership and investment committees. Partner with seller leadership teams to understand business performance, growth opportunities, and financial drivers. Financial Planning & Performance Management Develop acquisition budgets, forecasts, and financial projections for prospective and recently acquired businesses. Analyze business performance against budget, forecast, and underwriting assumptions, identifying key variances and trends. Support the development of management reporting packages, KPI dashboards, and executive presentations. Evaluate revenue, profitability, utilization, and cash flow metrics to support strategic decision-making. Assist with scenario analyses and long-range planning efforts related to acquisitions and integration initiatives. Transaction Execution Support the preparation of Indications of Interest (IOIs), Letters of Intent (LOIs), and transaction-related financial analyses. Coordinate third-party diligence providers and manage transaction timelines. Partner with internal stakeholders and external advisors to advance transactions through closing. Prepare funds flow analyses and support other closing activities. Financial Due Diligence Support and review third-party Quality of Earnings analyses. Evaluate revenue quality, margins, working capital requirements, and other key financial metrics. Identify financial, operational, and reporting risks and assist in developing mitigation strategies. Assess accounting policies, reporting processes, and financial controls of acquisition targets. Integration & Post-Close Performance Support financial integration activities and reporting standardization for acquired businesses. Track net working capital adjustments, earnouts, and other post-closing financial obligations. Monitor post-acquisition performance against underwriting assumptions and strategic objectives. Analyze integration costs, synergies, and value creation initiatives. Provide recurring performance reporting and insights to leadership teams. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner closely with Corporate Development, Integration, Finance, Accounting, and Business leaders. Participate in meetings with acquisition targets and newly acquired firms. Support integration planning and performance tracking initiatives across the organization. QualificationsThe ideal candidate must: Have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field (CPA preferred). Have 3-6+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, transaction advisory, corporate development, public accounting, investment banking, or a related field. Possess strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Demonstrate a strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow analysis, and key business performance metrics. Have experience evaluating revenue quality, profitability, working capital, and operational performance. Be highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools is a plus. Have excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly communicate financial findings to senior stakeholders.
