Senior Associate – Private Capital
Reports directly to Head of Private Capital Investor Relations
Works closely with: Fund Management, Acquisitions, Portfolio Management, Legal/Compliance, and Fund Operations. The role will also partner cross-functionally to support product positioning and investor engagement.
 

Role Overview
The Senior Associate will play a central role in the firm’s Private Capital platform across both institutional capital raising and investor relations, with a balanced focus on originating and advancing new investor relationships as well as servicing existing institutional investors through high‑quality reporting and communication.

This role is designed for a high‑performing professional with experience in institutional fundraising, investor relations, or investment consulting, who is ready to take on greater responsibility within a growing platform. The Senior Associate will lead and execute investor diligence workflows, supporting consultant engagement, preparing marketing and reporting materials, coordinating investor communications, and ensuring consistency across all external deliverables. The role includes direct exposure to LPs and consultants, with a clear path toward increasing ownership of relationships over time.

The position offers a clear development path toward broader responsibility across capital formation and investor coverage and participation in product positioning and platform growth initiatives.

 

Key Responsibilities

Capital Raising & Investor Development

  • Support capital raising efforts and broader client development initiatives across the firm’s Private Capital funds, including investor outreach, meeting preparation, and follow‑up.
  • Support management of the prospective institutional investor pipeline across sovereign wealth funds, public pensions, endowments, foundations, insurance companies, and OCIO platforms.
  • Help prepare senior team members for LP and consultant meetings by coordinating materials, synthesizing key messages and talking points, and providing relevant background research and investor/market context.
  • Help track investor activity, meeting outcomes, and next steps to support pipeline advancement and conversion, and generate insights to inform fundraising strategy and positioning.

Investor Relations & Reporting

  • Support ongoing coverage of existing investors, including coordination of periodic reporting, investor communications, and ad hoc requests.
  • Assist in the preparation and delivery of quarterly and annual investor reports, presentations, and related materials in coordination with Portfolio Management and Fund Operations.
  • Manage and draft responses to routine LP inquiries, ensuring timely, accurate, and consistent communication.
  • Support and coordinate investor meetings, annual meetings, and other engagement initiatives for existing LPs, including development of materials and key discussion points.

Consultant & Investor Diligence

  • Coordinate and support consultant and LP diligence processes across both prospective and existing relationships, including DDQs, data room management, and supplemental information requests.
  • Maintain, refine, and enhance standardized diligence response language, ensuring consistency and quality across fundraising and reporting materials.
  • Track diligence workflows across multiple investors and ensure timely completion of deliverables.

Materials, Reporting & Data Management

  • Support the preparation, refinement, and ongoing maintenance of both fundraising and investor reporting materials, including pitch decks, fact sheets, DDQs, and periodic reports, with a focus on quality, consistency and clarity of investor messaging.
  • Maintain investor data rooms across both capital raising and existing investor needs, coordinating with Investments, Legal, and Compliance.
  • Support internal reporting on fundraising progress, investor engagement, and feedback, as well as reporting timelines and deliverables for existing investors.

Investor Onboarding & Lifecycle Management

  • Support onboarding of new investors by coordinating documentation, data requests, and internal approvals.
  • Ensure a seamless transition from closing to ongoing investor coverage, including integration into reporting and communication processes.
  • Help institutionalize and continuously improve best practices across the full investor lifecycle, from initial engagement through ongoing relationship management.

Platform & Process Development

  • Contribute to building scalable workflows across both capital raising and investor relations, including CRM tracking, reporting calendars, diligence libraries, and standardized communications.
  • Help drive documentation and refinement of processes supporting both fundraising execution and investor servicing as the platform grows.
  • Synthesize and surface investor and consultant feedback to senior team members to continuously improve fund positioning, reporting quality, and overall investor experience.
  • Assist in broader platform initiatives, including brand building, newsletters, investor events, and annual meetings.

 

Role Development & Trajectory
This role is intended for someone who wants to develop into a fully integrated capital formation and investor relations professional, with responsibility across both new business development and existing investor coverage. As the platform scales, the Senior Associate will have increasing exposure to:

  • Direct LP and consultant relationships across both prospective and existing investors
  • Capital raising strategy and execution
  • Product specialization, including fund positioning, messaging, and cross-vehicle strategy
  • Investor reporting strategy, messaging, and engagement
  • New product development across Private Capital

Our published pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and geographical location. Individual pay is based on additional factors including but not limited to job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training. Moreover, an employee’s total compensation package varies by role and may include salary, cash bonus or commissions, and equity awards not quantified below. 

 

Compensation range: $165k + bonus . This compensation range represents the Company’s good faith belief as to what it will pay as a base salary for this position at the time of this posting.
