Position Overview:Ā 

As Senior Director of Facilities, youĀ will delight our Financial Services client throughĀ theĀ strategic and operational delivery of JLL's Facility Management services across a dynamic Americas real estate portfolio.Ā Ā

With your extensive facilities managementĀ expertise, business acumen, and leadership capabilities, you will drive operational excellence, manageĀ substantialĀ budgets, and serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders while fostering a high-performing team culture.Ā 

This is an onsite role based in Midtown Manhattan with approximately 20% travel.Ā

What Your Day Will Look LikeĀ 

  • PortfolioĀ leadershipĀ and service delivery.Ā You'llĀ driveĀ strategicĀ and tacticalĀ excellenceĀ as the senior leader responsible forĀ theĀ delivery, clientĀ satisfactionĀ andĀ transformational initiativesĀ withinĀ ourĀ Americas facilities management portfolio. Each day brings opportunities to analyze portfolio-wide performance data,Ā identifyĀ optimization opportunities, and present strategies thatĀ leverageĀ industry trends and data-driven insights to enhance customer experience.Ā Ā Ā 

  • Financial stewardship and performance management.Ā You'llĀ oversee comprehensive financial planning including operational budgeting and forecasting. Your focus on cost optimization and variance analysis ensures performance within approved budgets and CPI tolerances while delivering measurable value through annual savings targets and transparent financial reporting.Ā 

  • Client partnership and relationship building.Ā You'llĀ establishĀ and maintain strong relationships at all organizational levels, serving as the primary point of escalation for complex operational challenges. Through regular governance business reviews and strategic planning sessions,Ā you'llĀ present portfolio analytics, benchmarking insights, and recommendations that reinforce JLL's position as strategic partner of choice.Ā 

  • Team development and cultural transformation.Ā You'llĀ invest inĀ peopleĀ care by creating development and succession plans that strengthen our talent pipeline and promote our "Destination Account" vision. Your leadership fosters a culture of excellence, ownership, and empowerment while leading change initiatives that embed best practices through standardized, programmatic approaches across the portfolio.Ā You'llĀ implement portfolio transformation programs that equip our people with the training and resources needed for success.Ā 

  • Integration and collaboration.Ā You'llĀ ensure seamless integration across all JLL services, coordinating internally to deliver a unifiedĀ OneJLLĀ approach for our client.Ā You'llĀ lead the One Team collaboration program that includes our client's Workplace teams and Landlords, working together in a client-centric manner to achieve combined success.Ā You'llĀ build andĀ maintainĀ relationships with key vendors and service providers,Ā negotiatingĀ contractsĀ andĀ ensuringĀ quality serviceĀ delivery thatĀ meets client expectations. Your collaborative mindsetĀ identifiesĀ issues early and engages leadership to supportĀ timelyĀ resolution.Ā 

  • Operational excellence and compliance.Ā You'llĀ establishĀ enterprise-wide standards and QA/QC processes that enable consistent delivery, scalability, and continuous improvement. Regular site visits allow you to conduct assessments, engage directly with facility operations, and ensure compliance with contractual requirements, regulatory standards, and client expectations.Ā 

  • Performance achievement.Ā You'llĀ drive achievement of contractual requirements and account goals, including work order management metrics and CPI/KPI targets, whileĀ maintainingĀ high client satisfaction measured through performance indicators and satisfaction surveys.Ā 

Required QualificationsĀ 

• Bachelor's degree; Facilities Management,Ā Engineering, Business Administration, or related fieldĀ 

• 10+ years of strategic and tactical IFMĀ multi-regionalĀ portfolio experience for financial services or technology-focused clients, including advanced knowledge ofĀ CREĀ facility management methodologies, building systems, maintenance processes, and regulatory requirementsĀ Ā 

• DemonstratedĀ transformational leadership success inĀ establishingĀ standardized processes,Ā resourceĀ alignmentĀ andĀ governance frameworksĀ to ensure the delivery of operational excellence in a standardized,Ā consistentĀ andĀ timelyĀ manner across portfolio operations for client and team successĀ 

• DemonstratedĀ success recruiting, developing, andĀ retainingĀ top talent; creating development plans and fostering an inspiring, empoweringĀ cultureĀ 

• Executive presence with exceptional communication skills and ability to build trust-based relationships across all stakeholder levels;Ā proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive enterprise-wide transformationĀ 

• Strong budget development and forecasting abilities; understanding of operational budgeting, cost management, variance analysis, and financial reportingĀ 

• High-level performance in vendor management and contract negotiationsĀ 

• Strong organizational and analytical capabilitiesĀ 

• ProficiencyĀ in CMMS platforms, BI/analytics tools, and Microsoft Office applicationsĀ 

Preferred QualificationsĀ 

• Advanced degree (MBA, MS Engineering, or related field)Ā 

• Experience managing globalĀ service deliveryĀ

Estimated compensation for this position:

200,000.00 – 250,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
