The Senior Marketing Manager is responsible for the execution of Marketing and Communications, Business Development strategies, and/or a specific marketing function in Greater New York City. Daily responsibilities include managing the local Marketing and Communications efforts, pitch and proposal strategy, creative strategy, as well as creating, designing, and developing, material as needed. This position will lead the local Marketing team and will collaborate with other local and corporate Marketing teams to execute strategic vision of special projects and pitches / presentations as requested by fee-earners and broader Service Delivery teams. The Marketing Manager is ultimately accountable for providing an exceptional level of marketing support and expertise for the region.Job Description
Responsibilities:
Business Development
Responsible for leading, providing strategic direction and executing on Business Development projects (both proposals and client presentations) in partnership with fee earnersĀ and service line teamsĀ
Lead the strategic direction for the messaging, content, and marketing materials to be developed, following the guidelines of C&Wās BD āProposing Solutionsā approachĀ Ā
Manage incoming requests from fee-earners or collect information and scope of services pertinent to the requestĀ
Ensure development of agreed upon expectations,Ā timelinesĀ and project milestones with project team at project outset, and ensure management of those expectation,Ā timelinesĀ and milestones throughout the processĀ
Work with teamĀ to write or overseeĀ proposalĀ and presentation contentĀ and review withĀ fee-earners and key responsibleĀ affiliatesĀ
Facilitate review of materials and address any feedback fromĀ fee-earners and key responsible affiliatesĀ Ā
Ensure the delivery of aĀ cleanĀ final productĀ to fee-earner or clientĀ
Share best practices withĀ broaderĀ Marketing teamĀ

GeneralĀ Marketing
ExecuteĀ MarketingĀ andĀ CommunicationsĀ plan toĀ support the overallĀ localĀ marketing and business objectivesĀ
Use local market competitive, client, and industry insights to inform business strategies andĀ optimizeĀ impact of marketing spendĀ
ReviewĀ and guideĀ marketing efforts (both communication development and delivery) for alignment and support ofĀ market-specificĀ businessĀ objectives, include Service Delivery,Ā OperationsĀ andĀ fee-earners asĀ requiredĀ
Manage team of Marketing Specialists andĀ Graphic DesignersĀ
Oversee,Ā manage, and leadĀ execution of internalĀ and external marketing events,Ā including coordination with external vendors and other internal business functionsĀ Ā
Collaborate regularly with Research function to capture market data and present contentĀ
Maintain project schedules andĀ delegate activitiesĀ Ā
EnsureĀ timelyĀ delivery of deliverablesĀ
KeepĀ MarketingĀ Director apprised of issues, progress, and status of projectsĀ
Review all material to ensure brand guidelines and standards are followedĀ

Corporate MarketingĀ Ā
ApplyĀ global standardsĀ and brand positioning to local MarketingĀ andĀ Communication activities (Communications,Ā Marketing, andĀ BusinessĀ Development), managing adoption and compliance by team and local marketĀ
Coordinate withĀ other marketingĀ professionals to develop and share best practicesĀ within and across marketsĀ
Develop both a strategic/proactive posture and a tactical/reactive posture in the market that helps driveĀ revenue growth and efficiently support business activities,Ā allocatingĀ marketing resources appropriatelyĀ
Track and reportĀ monthly statistics,Ā trends,Ā key wins, major events, and other regional information toĀ LeadershipĀ

Qualifications:
Bachelorās DegreeĀ requiredĀ Ā
7+ years ofĀ Marketing and Business DevelopmentĀ experienceĀ
Commercial real estateĀ experience preferred, experience supporting professional services companyĀ requiredĀ
Strong ability to problem-solve with the ability to work effectively, efficiently, independently and as a team leader in a deadline-driven, dynamic office environmentĀ
Experience servingĀ as primary marketing leaderĀ overseeing a team of marketing professionalsĀ for an office or revenue groupĀ
Experience supportingĀ all associated advertising, PR,Ā eventsĀ and business development activities in compliance with corporate guidelinesĀ
HighĀ levelĀ ofĀ proficiencyĀ in Microsoft Office Suite; generalĀ knowledge of Adobe Creative SuiteĀ
Ability toĀ interface withĀ and communicate with clientsĀ
Excellent written andĀ oralĀ communication skillsĀ
Strong presentation skillsĀ
Advanced analytical, problem solving, and conceptual skillsĀ

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidateās experience and qualifications.
The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
