Dedicated to providing the highest quality health care services to all New Yorkers with compassion, dignity and respect, and regardless of immigration status or ability to pay.   Opportunity Details: Organize, audit, and transmit bi-weekly payroll. Review timecards and answer employees’ inquiries. Process employee reimbursements, as needed. Process union dues/union pension reports. Ensure payroll laws, compliance, and confidentiality, and union requirements are adhered to. Maintain an accurate and timely schedule for reporting and processing of payroll data. Assist with any new setup for payroll system. Assist in training and compliance of the staff in the Payroll Department. Support and interact with Operations and HR at all Affiliates. Develop reports requested by the Affiliates. Review cross-departmental impacts and reconcile data sharing. Possible travel once every other week to Affiliates in the Bronx, Manhattan, and Brooklyn. This is a full-time, in-office position based in Midtown Manhattan and requires on-site attendance five days per week. Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred. 3-4 years of experience in various payroll operations (timecard review, pay code audit, PTO accrual settings, retroactive pay calculations for salary increases, etc.). Advanced knowledge of Paycom is highly preferred and its associated modules. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel spreadsheets (VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables). Knowledge of Payroll laws, confidentiality, and compliance requirements. Excellent communication skills.   Benefits include: 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits): Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required. After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
