Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience with software development in Python.
- 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
- 3 years of experience with ML infrastructure (e.g., model deployment, model evaluation, optimization, data processing, debugging).
- 1 year of experience with GenAI techniques (e.g., LLMs, Multi-Modal, Large Vision Models) or with GenAI-related concepts (language modeling, computer vision).
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
- 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects.
- 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
- Experience developing accessible technologies.

Responsibilities:
- Partner closely with Researchers and Product teams across Alphabet (DeepMind, Core, P&D teams)Â to build emerging AI capabilities and technologies for SWE Agents. Strong collaboration skills are a must!
- Work in startup mode.
- Identify developer pain points and develop novel user experiences to address issues. Ideate quickly and run experiments to improve agent quality. Collaborate closely with cross-functional/cross-product area (XFN/X-PA) partners to plan and prioritize projects.
- Cultivate a respectful, and collaborative team environment.
