As a Senior Manager, People Communications and Change Management reporting to the Communications Leader for People@Nasdaq, you’ll play a critical role in telling a compelling, cohesive, and aligned narrative about the various programs, policies, and benefits we offer. You’ll also partner closely with Nasdaq’s People Experience team to communicate about our People Promise—the expression of what it’s like to work at Nasdaq—to candidates and colleagues alike. You will be responsible for leading change and communication strategy, consultation, and delivery for high-profile, mission-critical projects at the enterprise, division or expert team, and local level. These projects are crucial to Nasdaq’s continued success and the further development of our business growth strategy.

Key ResponsibilitiesĀ 

  • Provide strategic communications consultancy toĀ stakeholdersĀ and own the end-to-end executionĀ of communicationsĀ key projects across the People@NasdaqĀ portfolio and beyond,Ā includingĀ significantĀ change managementĀ iniatitives,Ā new programĀ launches, workforce and location strategy initiatives,Ā regional and local statutory requirements,Ā and more. This includes communicationĀ andĀ change management planning, drafting and delivery,Ā channel optimization,Ā and/or coordinating with other Nasdaq or third-party partners, as necessary.Ā 

  • Partner closely with the People@Nasdaq Communications Leader to bringĀ to life the People Team mission, vision, and thematic narrativeĀ to increase employee understanding of, and appreciation for, Nasdaq’s compelling total offer of benefits and other programs and rewardsĀ in a consistent wayĀ across all channels.Ā Ā 

  • Apply end-to-end thinking and an ā€œoutcomes-over-output mindsetā€ to help design, document, influence, and communicate about all facets of signature People@Nasdaq workflows/experiences, such as onboarding or promotions, collaborating closely with the product/program owner – and across all areas of People Team – to ensure a holistic, thoughtful, and best-in-class user experience for key moments in the employee lifecycle.Ā Ā 

  • EmployĀ a continuous improvement mindset to suggest, test, and implementĀ ā€œwhitespaceā€ ideas to elevate theĀ People@NasdaqĀ communicationsĀ channelsĀ with an eye towards innovation and improvingĀ stakeholder engagement with, and understanding of,Ā key concepts and relevant topics.Ā 

  • CoordinateĀ closely with theĀ M&AĀ Lead and PMO Lead for People@NasdaqĀ for allĀ mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, andĀ otherĀ M&A activities, including the creation and curation of defined M&AĀ playbooksĀ toĀ facilitateĀ employee understandingĀ and reduce disruption and riskĀ during times of transition, ultimately enabling the desired business outcomes associated with the deal.Ā 

  • Work closely with theĀ People@NasdaqĀ Communications Leader to develop the agenda,Ā promote,Ā andĀ facilitateĀ large-scaleĀ People@NasdaqĀ Communications events includingĀ a global Manager Forum,Ā ā€˜Ask Me Anything’ all-hands, and internal People TeamĀ all-hands town halls.Ā 

  • Leverage AI-assisted toolsĀ to create better deliverables andĀ enable greater efficiencyĀ whileĀ enhancingĀ with quality,Ā consistency, and creativity of people team communication campaigns.Ā Ā 

  • Serve as the AI subject expert for People@Nasdaq communications team, which includes scouting new available AI technologies, developing application use cases and strategies, and optimizing the suite of AI tools in use to produce better outcomes based on company- and topic-specificĀ preferences and parameters.Ā

Required QualificationsĀ 

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, human resources, marketing, or a related field.Ā Ā 

  • 7-10+Ā years of experienceĀ in aĀ corporateĀ communications-related role,Ā preferably with an HRĀ focus.Ā Ā 

  • ProvenĀ track recordĀ ofĀ deliveringĀ high-quality, impactfulĀ employee engagement and change managementĀ campaigns across the HR space.Ā 

  • DemonstratedĀ ability toĀ influence stakeholders, develop scalable solutions, lead cross-functional initiatives.Ā 

  • Clear communicator with experience in collaborative, matrixed environmentsĀ who can translate complex information and ideas for a diverse global audience.Ā 

  • Exceptional communication skills, including experience liaising with and influencing senior leadership.Ā 

  • Working knowledge ofĀ agileĀ methodologiesĀ andĀ applying AI-poweredĀ toolsĀ to communications workflowsĀ and outputs.Ā 

  • Growth mindset,Ā constant curiosity to learn,Ā and relentlessĀ passion for elevating the HR communicationĀ function, outcomes for stakeholders, and overall engagement of the company’s global workforce.Ā

Preferred QualificationsĀ Ā 

  • Change managementĀ certification (e.g., PROSCI or similar)Ā and/or experience desired.Ā 

  • Exposure to global teams and cultural nuances in cross-border collaboration.Ā

This position will beĀ based in New York, NY, USAĀ and offers the opportunity for a hybrid workĀ arrangementĀ at leastĀ threeĀ days a week in-office, subject to change, providingĀ flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.Ā

The base pay range for this role is $101,000 - $177,000. In addition to base salary, Nasdaq provides a generous annual bonus/commission (short-term incentive), and equity (long-term incentive), comprehensive benefits, and opportunity for growth. Exact compensation may vary based on several job-related factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, experience, education/training, business needs and market demands.
