We’re seeking a Senior Traffic Engineer / Business Developer to join our growing traffic team in New York City. We are a close-knit team of 50+ professionals known for our collaborative spirit and strong relationships—both internally and with our clients. Your Opportunity
As a key member of our team, you’ll lead and support a variety of transportation projects that make a real impact:
- Actively participates and leads business development by delivering quality work, providing excellent client service, and assisting in preparing proposals on various pursuits
- Helps lead our team of TPTE professionals. Manages resources to ensure projects are completed accurately and within budget and time frame.
- Takes an active mentoring role; encourages, motivates, and develops staff for high performance.
- Leads transportation planning studies, traffic impact analyses, and safety assessments – including Environmental Impact Assessments and Planning and Environmental Linkages studies
- Participates in interviews and hiring of new staff members.
- Collaborate with roadway and structural engineers on iterative design processes
- Represents the organization at professional organizations and conferences.Â
- Present technical concepts at public meetings and support stakeholder engagement
