We are looking for an experienced (A/B), Automotive Service Technician for our Lexus聽& Toyota of Manhattan Dealerships!
Responsibilities:
路 Diagnoses cause of malfunctions and perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
路 Examines the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required and then notifies service advisor
路 Responsible for vehicle maintenance and proper lubrication of a car鈥檚 suspension system and other moving parts.路聽
路 Responsible for documenting all work performed
路 Road-tests vehicles when required Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
路 Ensures cleanliness of all customers vehicles
路 Keeps shop area neat, clean, and be able to account for all dealership-owned tools
路 Understands and follows federal, state and local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes.
路 Complies with factory and state requirements for technical certifications
路 Attends factory-sponsored training classes as required
What We Are Looking For:
路 3-5+ previous Technician experience (dealership preferred)
路 Engine (Repair, Swap, Build), Transmission, Suspension, Diagnostics experience
路 Toyota/Lexus Technician experience preferred
路 MUST HAVE NEW YORK STATE INSPECTON LICENSE
路 ASE CERTIFIED PREFERRED
路 CDK & Dealer Daily experience a plus

Job Type: Full-time
Rate Range: $25 to $40+/hr (dependent on experience)
