Position Overview: 

The Social Worker is responsible for providing comprehensive clinical services to youth ages 15–20, including conducting mental health assessments, intakes, and psychosocial evaluations. The Social Worker maintains a caseload of approximately six youth, providing weekly individual counseling, supporting progress toward service plan goals, and teaching cognitive and dialectical behavioral skills. Responsibilities include developing and implementing treatment plans, participating in biweekly multidisciplinary treatment team meetings, use of evidence-based practices. The Social Worker also collaborates with community-based medical and mental health providers, maintains partnerships and coordinates care to support successful resident transitions into the community.

Position Qualifications:

LMSW, LCSW, LMHC or equivalent; minimum of 2 years of experience in a residential setting or working with foster youth preferred. Will take an applicant who has a limited permit. Must have familiarity with or willing to acquire skills in DBT and Trauma Informed Treatment. Must have knowledge of adolescent development.
