Job Summary
We are introducing a new senior role within the Demand team dedicated exclusively to Curation Hub, with end-to-end ownership across strategy, growth, and execution. This leader will serve as the singular owner of Curation Hub holistically responsible for building, improving, and expanding the offering across demand and supply. Unlike existing roles that balance multiple priorities, this position will carry a dedicated Curation Hub performance goal, ensuring focused attention and clear accountability for driving adoption, revenue, and operational excellence.Externally, this role will be the primary point of contact for all Curation Hub-related communication with agencies and publishers, leading sales conversations, managing escalations, and overseeing ongoing partnership management. Internally, this role will act as the central coordination point across agency Demand, BuyerCloud, supply, product, technical solutions, and other key stakeholders, working in close partnership with the Curation Hub technical solutions lead to ensure comprehensive coverage across commercial growth, client communication, troubleshooting, and product optimization.
Job Description
Strategic Ownership & Growth
Serve as the end-to-end business owner for Curation Hub, accountable for strategy, growth, adoption, and performance.
Define and own Curation Hub KPIs (adoption, revenue, usage, performance), with a dedicated performance target tied to the product.
Develop and execute a multi-channel growth strategy, including expansion into brand-direct, independent, and new demand partners.
Represent Curation Hub’s needs and priorities in annual planning, resourcing, and investment decisions.
External Leadership – Agencies & Publishers
Act as the primary external lead for all Curation Hub-related communications with agencies and demand partners, particularly at the VP+ level, building confidence in FreeWheel’s capabilities and team.
Lead and support sales and upsell motions, partnering with account teams to position and sell Curation Hub across existing and new relationships.
Own publisher-facing advocacy for Curation Hub, partnering with Supply to articulate the revenue story and drive publisher adoption and enthusiasm.
Serve as the escalation point for Curation Hub issues with agencies and publishers, ensuring responsive, clear, and consistent communication.
Internal Leadership & Cross-Functional Coordination
Act as the central coordination point across Agency Demand, BuyerCloud, Supply, Product, Technical Solutions, Inventory, DSP, Finance, and other key stakeholders for all things Curation Hub.
Clarify and codify ownership, roles, and accountability across teams, closing current accountability gaps and reducing operational friction.
Work closely with Demand Account Teams to ensure the proper setup, execution, and management of Curation Hub deals, reducing time to resolution on issues and escalations.
Partner with Agency Partnerships to create a cohesive client experience and clear handoffs from deal signature through activation and ongoing management.
Collaborate with Supply teams to embed Curation Hub into publisher strategies and narratives, making it a clear path for publishers to drive incremental revenue.
Post-Activation Ownership & Escalation Management
Serve as the post-activation owner for Curation Hub, accountable for issue triage, escalation management, and end-to-end resolution.
Build and maintain standardized processes for troubleshooting, communication, and escalation tracking across agencies and publishers.
Monitor and report on escalation trends and recurring issues, partnering with Product and Technical Solutions to address root causes and drive long-term improvements.
Proactive Management, Optimization & Product Partnership
Establish a proactive management framework for Curation Hub, regularly reviewing usage, adoption, performance, and risk across partners.
Identify and drive optimization opportunities (e.g., configuration changes, best practices, performance tweaks) to improve outcomes and deepen engagement.
Develop playbooks, templates, and best practices that make it easier for account teams to sell, activate, and grow Curation Hub.
Act as the Product Point Person for Curation Hub—centralizing feedback, communicating needs to Product, and helping push through product enhancements and operational improvements.
Partner with Product, ACH, and Analytics to inform the product roadmap, especially as Curation Hub expands across products and surfaces in new channels.
Preferred Qualifications
10+ years in digital advertising, programmatic, ad tech, or media, with experience spanning agency and/or publisher environments.
Proven success in senior client-facing roles (e.g., account leadership, partnerships, marketplace/curation leadership, or sales) engaging VP+ stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to be a single-threaded owner of a product or program with clear accountability for growth, adoption, and performance.
Strong understanding of CTV/video, programmatic, marketplaces, and curation; experience with SSPs/DSPs and curated marketplaces is a plus.
Track record of leading complex, cross-functional initiatives and aligning multiple teams around shared goals.
Exceptional communication and executive presence, able to create confidence with agencies, publishers, and internal leadership.
Strong operational rigor and experience building scalable processes for activation, issue management, and escalation handling.
Data-driven and analytically minded, comfortable using performance data to guide decisions and optimizations.
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with evolving products and priorities.
