FreeWheel is hiring a Senior Director of Product Management to lead our Built-In AI Platform and Data Experiences portfolio for premium video.

Job Description

Your Impact: 

Advertisers and publishers increasingly rely on data and AI to make faster, more confident decisions in a complex premium-video marketplace.

You will lead FreeWheel’s Built-In AI Platform and Data Experiences product area, creating the intelligence layer that brings trusted data, intuitive reporting, and AI-powered decision support directly into the platform.

This team builds the shared AI capabilities—including orchestration, multi-agent workflows, intent, skills, and guardrails—that allow product teams to deliver scalable, secure, and continuously improving AI experiences.

You will partner closely with the Director of Data Platform to translate our shared data foundation and modeling capabilities into intelligent and accessible customer experiences.

You will pair that foundation with data exploration, dashboards, visualizations, and proactive alerts that transform complex signals into clear, actionable insights, helping customers identify opportunities, respond faster, and drive better business outcomes. 

Core Responsibilities: 

  • Own the end‑to‑end product strategy, roadmap, and delivery for our Built-In AI Platform and Data Experiences across multiple interconnected product suites in premium video. 

  • Translate advertiser, agency, publisher, and partner needs into clear roadmap priorities and execution plans. 

  • Lead and develop a team of product managers across a multi-platform, cross-functional product area. Establish standards for product discovery, business case development, and execution artifacts to ensure quality and consistency. 

  • Represent your product portfolio with executive stakeholders, strategic customers, and external partners; influence cross‑company priorities and align senior leadership on roadmap and investment decisions.  Serves as a subject-matter expert for assigned products. 

  • Leads all phases of the product lifecycle, from inception through product deployment and provides direction of introduction into the marketplace. 

  • Accountable for product-area business performance, including investment prioritization, ROI evaluation, KPI definition, and ongoing performance management tied to growth, adoption, and cost efficiency. 

  • Turn ambiguity into clear priorities, recommendations, and execution plans; delegate meaningful ownership and hold teams accountable for work that is understood, progressing, and delivered. 

  • Facilitate collaboration across disciplines (e.g.,product, engineering, revenue, client services) and and help teams resolve issues efficiently. 

  • Build, lead, and retain a high‑performing product organization by setting clear expectations, developing talent, making thoughtful compensation and promotion decisions, and modeling strong judgment in matters of strategic and organizational importance. 

  • Maintain regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary. 

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Professional Experience & Qualifications: 

  • 8+ years in product management for advertising or marketing technology platforms, with experience operating at scale. 

  • 5+ years managing staff and fostering careers.  

  • Sound business and technical judgment, strong analytical skills, and the ability to influence others. 

  • Intimate familiarity with the programmatic ad tech ecosystem and monetization strategies. 

  • Experience partnering with engineering and data science teams to design AI-powered product capabilities—including LLMs, agentic workflows, orchestration, intent and skill design, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and evaluation practices—that enable product teams to deliver intelligent experiences consistently. 

  • Strong understanding of responsible AI principles, including data protection, governance, permissioning, guardrails, monitoring, and feedback loops that improve quality, reliability, and user trust over time. 

  • Experience designing reporting and analytics experiences—including data exploration, dashboards, visualizations, and alerting—that help users understand performance and take timely, informed action. 

  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex data and AI capabilities into intuitive in-platform experiences that simplify decision-making and create measurable customer and business value. 

  • Strong hands-on analytical and AI data skills, including SQL, data exploration, experimentation, model and output evaluation, performance monitoring, and applying quantitative feedback to improve product decisions and AI experiences. 

  • Excellent communication skills.

Compensation

New York Pay Range: $206,445.02 - $309,667.52

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. The application window is 30 days from the date job is posted, unless the number of applicants requires it to close sooner or later.
