Position: Senior Director, Global Treasury
Location: NYC 1211 6th Avenue
Type: Hybrid 3 days a week in office
Pay Range: $180,00 - $240,000 + Bonus
Position Summary
The Senior Director, Global Treasury is a senior finance leader responsible for developing and executing the Company’s global treasury strategy across liquidity management, financing, investments, banking relationships, financial risk, and treasury transformation. This role partners closely with the Treasurer & Head of FP&A, CFO, Tax, Accounting, Legal, and business unit leadership to optimize global liquidity, improve capital efficiency, strengthen governance, and support strategic financing initiatives across a complex multinational organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Treasury Strategy & Liquidity Management
Develop and execute the Company's global liquidity strategy to optimize cash deployment and funding across multiple regions and legal entities.
Oversee cash positioning, liquidity forecasting, intercompany funding, and capital allocation strategies.
Lead initiatives to improve global cash visibility and centralize cash through repatriations, treasury structures and banking solutions.
Partner with FP&A and business unit finance teams to strengthen cash forecasting and support enterprise liquidity planning.
Capital Markets, Investments & Risk
Support the execution and ongoing management of the Company's debt portfolio, revolving credit facilities, debt covenant tracking and other financing arrangements.
Oversee the Company's centralized investment portfolio (~$1 billion), establishing investment strategies that balance liquidity, yield, and risk while ensuring compliance with investment policy.
Evaluate market conditions and provide recommendations regarding interest rate, investment, and funding strategies.
Lead the Company's foreign exchange risk management program, including identification of exposures, execution oversight, and hedging strategy recommendations.
Monitor financial market developments impacting liquidity, interest rates, currencies, and banking counterparties.
Global Banking & Treasury Infrastructure
Develop and maintain executive-level relationships with global banking partners.
Lead banking strategy, bank rationalization initiatives, account structure optimization, and global cash management solutions.
Drive the expansion of multi-currency global notional cash pool and automated sweeping arrangements.
Drive treasury technology initiatives focused on automation, reporting, and treasury infrastructure modernization.
Governance, Reporting & Leadership
Develop executive reporting and treasury analytics for senior management and the Board of Directors, including liquidity, investments, debt, capital markets, and financial risk.
Ensure compliance with treasury policies, investment guidelines, debt agreements, and internal control requirements.
Oversee Treasury SOX controls and governance and coordinate internal and external audit activities.
Mentor and develop treasury team members while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Qualifications & Experience
Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business required. CPA, CTP, CFA or equivalent professional designation required.
Professional Experience:
10+ years of progressive corporate treasury experience within multinational organizations.
Demonstrated leadership across global liquidity management, investments, capital markets, debt financing, banking relationships, and financial risk management.
Experience partnering with executive leadership and presenting treasury recommendations to senior management.
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance strategic priorities and operational execution.
Advanced proficiency in Treasury Management Systems (TMS), Electronic Bank Account Management (EBAM), Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and treasury analytics.
AI & Technology Proficiency:
Prompt engineering: Effectively uses AI tools by providing clear instructions, context, and iterative refinement to produce accurate, high-quality outputs for decision making.
Critical evaluation of AI outputs: Applies professional judgment to validate AI-generated content, identify inaccuracies or gaps, and determine when human expertise is required, particularly for sensitive or confidential matters.
