In your role as Sr. Full Stack Engineer at Kohler Ventures you will:

• Work directly with the Head of Software, software engineering team, and product teams.
• Design web applications with cloud backend that can scale with the business growth of Kohler Ventures.
• Build the forward-looking vision and lead the effort to understand and drive requirements with hardware/software teams.
• Coordinate with product development teams to execute rollout/adoption of common libraries, services, and patterns.
• Measurably improve code normalization across one or more critical code concerns throughout the codebase.

Skills/Requirements

Required Qualifications

• You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in programming languages JavaScript, TypeScript. NodeJS.
• Solid understanding of REST API design and microservices architecture.
• Experience with PostgreSQL databases.
• Demonstrated understanding of web application security.
• Experience with Frontend frame NextJS, ReactJS.
• Experience with CSS frameworks and tools such as sass
• Implement responsive designs for various devices and screen resolutions
• Availability to work outside of standard business hours as needed to be able to collaborate with teams across multiple time zones.
• Ability to travel 10% of time both domestically and internationally.

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical experience in systems engineering at scale with regards to testing, reliability, security, and observability.
• Champion for quality in code, processes, and culture.
• Strong ability to communicate complex technical and management information clearly and concisely.

The base salary range for thisposition is $114,500 - $145,450. The actual base salary offered to a candidatemay be higher than the approved range. This will vary depending on a variety offactors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the worklocation. This position is subject to Area Salary Differential (Cost of LivingAdjustment) that ranges from 16% of base salary for the NYC metro area. The base salary range including ASD for this position is $132,820 -$168,722 depending on location. In addition, this position is eligible for aperformance bonus and a special project incentive.  Available benefitsinclude medical, dental, vision and 401k.
