As aĀ Tax Senior AccountantĀ supporting ourĀ assetĀ management and financial servicesĀ clients,Ā you’llĀ focus on the operating businesses behind the funds — theĀ management companies with employeesand day-to-dayĀ businessĀ operations.Ā You’llĀ navigate sophisticated, multistateĀ structures, foreign ownership considerations, and complex allocations, all while working independently on meaningful, high-impact engagements. Tax Compliance & AdvisoryĀ 

  • Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns forĀ asset management companies (partnerships, S-Corps, and C-Corps).Ā 

  • Manage complex multistate compliance, often filing in 20+ states, including PTE, composite, and nonresident withholding requirements.Ā 

  • Work through special allocations andĀ multi-tierĀ structures, sometimesĀ involving foreign partners and ownership of foreign entities.Ā 

  • Conduct technical research and provide guidance on complex tax matters affecting client operations.Ā 

  • IdentifyĀ opportunities for process improvements andĀ leverageĀ technology to enhance efficiency and accuracy across engagements.Ā 

Client Engagement & CollaborationĀ 

  • Take ownership of day-to-day engagement responsibilities, working independently with minimal oversight.Ā 

  • Review the work of other team members to ensure accuracy and quality.Ā 

  • Build trusted relationships with clients and internal stakeholders, with client interaction growing over time as you advance.Ā 

  • Collaborate closely with managers and engagement teams to meet deadlines and deliver exceptional service.Ā 

Team DevelopmentĀ 

  • Mentor and support junior staff through training, feedback, and review.Ā 

  • ModelĀ strong communicationĀ and organization to promote team alignment.Ā 

  • Contribute to a collaborative team with a culture built on strong working relationships.

Who You AreĀ 

QualificationsĀ 

  • Bachelor’s degree in AccountingĀ or related fieldĀ required.Ā 

  • CPA license or active progress toward CPAĀ stronglyĀ preferred.Ā 

  • Partnership tax experienceĀ required; S-Corp and C-Corp experienceĀ preferred.Ā 

  • Strong multistate tax experience, including experience with PTE,Ā compositeĀ and nonresident withholding taxes.Ā 

  • Ability to work independently in a self-directed environment.Ā 

  • Review experienceĀ required.Ā 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.Ā 

Preferred ExperienceĀ 

  • Experience with special allocations.Ā 

  • Exposure to foreign partners and ownership of foreign entities.Ā 

  • Background in asset management,Ā professional services, or financial services tax.Ā

Estimated Base Range: $70,000-$125,000

*Base compensation offered to candidates are determined based on factors such as candidate's relevant skillset, experience, licensure, and certifications, as well as job responsibilities, geography, market considerations, and organizational needs.
