Full time employees may be eligible for the following: Health Benefits including optional Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage for you and your dependents Medical FSA and Dependent Care Account Partial Medical deductible reimbursement 401(k) with Safe Harbor match Generous PTO   Job Overview: Under the supervision of the Associate Executive Director the Transportation Coordinator supervises van drivers and transportation matrons; as well as coordinates all services related to the transportation needs of the individuals attending the Day Habilitation programs. Responsibilities include: Coordinate the transportation logistics, which includes daily scheduling and handling multiple routes, drivers, and staff and provide safe transportation of all individuals with Intellectual Disabilities/Developmental Disabilities to and from day habilitation program. Ensure staff maintain the interior of assigned vehicles to guarantee a clean and sanitary environment for individuals being transported. Establish routes concentrating on customer service. Dispatch all drivers and matrons as needed. Receive all phone calls from drivers any hour in the day. Track routes to assure timeliness of pick-ups and drop-offs. Review and arrange all transportation paperwork including but not limited to driver logs and trip reports. Review staff hours. Handle concerns and direct problems to suitable parties. Provide direct/indirect supervision of all individuals entrusted to your care Report and address all accidents, damage to vehicles, and any maintenance needs (i.e. oil changes, tires, any mechanical issues, registration & inspection expirations). Oversee fleet operations to include safety software management, vehicle exchanges, lease renewals, and/or vehicle purchases. Conduct new driver road tests and training. Ensure all staff are trained in annual in-services, to include, but not limited to van safety, professionalism, SCIP-R, AMAP, CPR. Successfully complete and maintain the following agency training: SCIP-R, AMAP, CPR. Ensure compliance with all security as well as operational procedures. Work cooperatively and collaboratively with all staff across departments. Carry out any other responsibilities deemed necessary by the Associate Executive Director.   Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Requirements:Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Valid Driver’s License Minimum of two (2) years management experience. Logistics and transportation experience is desirable. One-year experience working with adults with disabilities preferred. Good computer skills including the ability to learn new software applications and teach staff new software applications pertaining to fleet management and appropriate record keeping.  Willing and able to work during program hours Monday – Friday 7:30a-3:30p and on-call responsibilities.  Requirements: High School Diploma/GED Valid Driver’s License   Reports to: Senior Director of Day Habilitation Associate Executive Director
