What You’ll Do:

  • Perform full-scope respiratory care, including ventilator management, arterial blood gas (ABG) drawing/analysis, and aerosol therapies.

  • Respond quickly and efficiently to rapid responses, codes, and emergency situations across the facility.

  • Collaborate closely with night-shift physicians, nurses, and intensive care teams to manage high-acuity patients.

  • Adapt smoothly to the facility's specific protocols, equipment, and electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

  • Maintain precise, real-time charting and documentation of all patient assessments and treatments.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Credentials: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) is highly preferred, though Certified Respiratory Therapists (CRT) with extensive experience will be considered.

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care/ICU experience, with at least 1 successfully completed travel contract preferred.

  • License/Certifications: Active state Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license, plus active NBRC credentials, BLS, and ACLS (PALS/NRP a plus depending on the unit).

  • Mindset: A highly flexible, independent professional who can seamlessly integrate into a new night-shift team on week one.
