Compensation

The salary for this role is $175,000 - $200,000. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in New York.  This salary range may also be modified in the future.

 

About the Role:

We are seeking a Vice President, Finance / Capital Markets to lead and support acquisition financings, construction financings, and refinancings across both LS Power’s development and private equity platforms. This role will work closely with senior leadership on complex transactions while independently managing financing processes, lender relationships, and transaction execution from inception through closing. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in credit, capital markets, and transaction structuring, with the ability to navigate multiple financing markets and support strategic capital formation initiatives.

Responsibilities

What you will do:

  • Support both development and private equity transactions, developing expertise across multiple investment and financing structures.
  • Lead debt execution efforts for acquisitions, construction financings, and refinancings, including diligence, lender coordination, documentation review, and transaction management.
  • Build lender presentations, information memoranda, and syndication materials.
  • Prepare and review lender financial models.
  • Independently lead financing transactions, including amendments, extensions, and other debt-related activities from kickoff through close.
  • Support fund-level and corporate financing initiatives, including subscription facilities, NAV facilities, revolving credit facilities, and GP/co-invest structures.
  • Coordinate interest rate hedging activities and monitor portfolio-wide financing exposures.
  • Maintain market intelligence on financing structures, pricing, lender appetite, and precedent transactions.
  • Support rating agency engagements, including presentation development, analytical support, and management of the ratings process.

Qualifications

  • Experience across multiple financing structures, including holding company debt, renewable energy financings, thermal generation financings, infrastructure platforms, and development financings.
  • Experience across multiple financing products, including bonds, term loans, project finance facilities, and corporate credit facilities.
  • Strong financial modeling skills and the analytical judgment to assess investment and financing outcomes.

Ideally, you also have

  • Have 6+ years of relevant experience in project finance, leveraged finance, investment banking, private equity, infrastructure investing, or capital markets.
  • Possess strong credit analysis and transaction structuring capabilities.
  • Have experience reviewing and negotiating credit agreements, financing documents, and term sheets.
  • Can independently manage transaction processes involving lenders, counsel, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
  • Are highly organized, detail-oriented, and effective at managing multiple concurrent workstreams.
