The Staff Pad is proud to partner with a renowned logistics and warehousing organization, and we are looking for a skilled and experienced Warehouse Handler with Forklift experience to care for and protect valuable fine art, antiques, and luxury assets, at its Brooklyn, NY location.

As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a critical role in the safe handling, storage, and movement of high-value collections within a state-of-the-art, fully temperature-controlled facility, while adhering to established standards and environment protocols.

This position offers the opportunity to work in a unique environment where precision, professionalism, and attention to detail help preserve irreplaceable items for the clients.

What You’ll Do

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and delivery documents
  • Safely load, unload, transport, and position artwork, antiques, and other high-value goods using forklifts, pallet jacks and hand trucks
  • Organize and store inventory in designated locations while maintaining optimal accessibility and preservation standards.
  • Prepare, package, and stage outgoing shipments with a focus on accuracy, protection, and quality & in compliance with shipping standards
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused warehouse environment.
  • Perform routine inventory counts and report discrepancies to management
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to support daily warehouse operations and ensure exceptional service standards.
  • Adhere to all safety, security, and environmental protocols designed to protect valuable collections and assets.

What We Are Looking For

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to safely lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds or more.
  • Basic knowledge of warehouse safety practices and procedures.
  • Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or similar material-handling equipment (certification preferred but not required).
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow established processes and instructions accurately.
  • Forklift operator certification.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, shipping, receiving, or inventory environment.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems, barcode scanners, and warehouse technology.
  • Basic computer proficiency for inventory tracking, data entry, and operational reporting.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
