Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Ability to build professional and informative interactions with all partners
  • Precisely and effectively complete all allocated assignments
  • Monitor, review and assess applicants through various job boards; maintain job postings; completing and coordinating interviews
  • Crafting job postings as necessary
  • Onboarding/offboarding applicants
  • Aid in management of personnel files, I-9’s, & other compliance matters, etc.
  • Maintain applicant, interview and various other logs
  • Follow the most recent state and government legislative codes, laws, and prerequisites
  • Identifying issues, creating or providing solutions, take actions to ensure that guest- related issues are resolved promptly once received, and provide the best possible outcome for guest satisfaction
  • Travel to site location throughout NYC

Job Requirements

  • At least 2 years previous hotel human resources/recruitment experience required in NYC or other major market
  • Must be fluent in Spanish; Working knowledge of other languages helpful
  • Familiarity with high volume talent acquisition
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and concentrate on detail in a fast-paced work environment
  • Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks
  • Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Able to work in a team environment and welcome feedback and direction
  • Capable of standing for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to frequently reach, bend, stoop, climb up and down stairs, walk, and carry multiple objects
  • Flexible schedule to include day shift, night shift, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to stay organized and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrated success managing a high volume of time-sensitive administrative tasks
  • Ability to persevere through challenges with tenacity and a positive attitude
  • Insatiable curiosity, eagerness to question the status quo, and desire to share knowledge
  • Exceptional attention to detail and deep sense of pride in your work
  • Ability to proactively balance multiple time-sensitive tasks and anticipate next steps
  • Passion for delivering human resources support to small and medium sized businesses
  • Familiarity with ATS (Indeed, ZipRecruiter)

  • Excellent Verbal and Written communication skills
  • Be able to speak, write and understand the primary language of the workplace
  • Ability to lift, push or pull 50 pounds
  • Proficiency in MS Office, working knowledge of Google Suite and possess basic computer skills
  • Experience with WorkForceNow and ATS preferred

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Required)
  • 2 Year/ 4 Year Degree from an accredited College/University (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • Relevant Advanced trainings and certifications preferred
