Associate, Information Security Associate

Community Federal Savings Bank is a full-service payments, lending and banking provider that delivers global financial services through a personal approach. CFSB is seeking a motivated Information Security Associate with 2 to 4 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT security, or IT operations. This role supports daily security operations, monitoring, and compliance and plays a key part in building and maturing the in-house SOC. Responsibilities:

• Assist with monitoring security alerts, analyzing events, and escalating as needed.
• Support SOC operations including log analysis, alert triage, and threat monitoring.
• Help conduct vulnerability scans and remediation follow-up.
• Assist in managing security tools (SIEM, EDR, IAM, email security, etc.).
• Contribute to security incident handling and documentation.
• Support user access management and privileged access reviews.
• Assist in maintaining security policies, procedures, and compliance documentation.
• Participate in cybersecurity awareness activities and phishing simulations.

 
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Foundational understanding of cybersecurity concepts and tools.
• Strong analytical skills and eagerness to grow in the cybersecurity field.

Education, Training, and Experience:

• 2–4 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, IT security, or IT operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• Entry-level certifications such as Security+, Network+, or CySA+ preferred.

Salary Range: $75,000-$95,000 k / year
