Sonic Summary

The Registered Nurse will work within an interdisciplinary team to care for a diverse maternal/newborn patient population in the labor and delivery department.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and a current New York State license to practice as a registered nurse.
A minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience is required for this position.
Applicants should possess BLS, ACLS, and NRP nursing certifications, with Electronic Fetal Monitoring Certification preferred.
Experience in Mother/Baby and Neonatal/Pediatric Nursing is highly preferred, and the salary for this position will be commensurate with experience.

As part of an interdisciplinary team to a diverse maternal/newborn patient population, the Registered Nurse will monitor and support patients in the labor and delivery department, providing care throughout every stage from admission to discharge.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
Current New York State license to practice as a registered nurse
2+ years Labor & Delivery experience required
BLS, ACLS, NRP nursing certifications required
Electronic Fetal Monitoring Certification preferred
Mother/Baby, Neonatal/Pediatric Nursing experience highly preferred
