What You Will DoĀ 

  • Utilize your experience to perform interior design assignments that include programming client needs, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, space planning and construction documentationĀ 

  • Generate finish plans, specifications, and material selections needed for constructionĀ 

  • Provide design support and documentation during completion and execution of design conceptsĀ 

  • Effectively communicate design ideas by hand sketching and/or digital graphicsĀ 

  • Independently create material palettes and inspiration image boardsĀ 

  • Work with external consultants, product representatives, furniture dealers, and fabricatorsĀ 

  • Support communication between project team, clients, vendors, contractors, consultants, and building and permittingofficialsĀ 

  • Provide technical guidance and innovative solutions to resolve complex technical and design challengesĀ 

  • Produce in Revit accurate technical and contract documentation for construction of projectĀ 

  • Provide project team coordination for finished plans, specification, and material selections; ensure design intent is incorporated into the construction documentationĀ 

  • Participate in construction administration, evaluate bids, conduct site visits, address technical issues, and maintain quality control during constructionĀ 

  • Work with consultants, contractors, fabricators, specification writers, and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectivesĀ 

  • Participate in the creation of 3D software renderings – enscape preferred - to communicate design conceptsĀ Ā 

  

Your QualificationsĀ 

  • Experience in the role described aboveĀ 

  • High resourcefulness of creative unique materials, furniture, and fixturesĀ 

  • Excellent color sense, and great passion for designĀ 

  • Excellent graphic design, organizational, time management, and written and verbal communication skillsĀ 

  • Passionate, self-starting, dedicated, efficientĀ 

  • Enjoys both taking responsibility and team collaborationĀ Ā 

  • Passion for both big picture design ideas and the detailsĀ 

  • Facility with 3D conceptualization (digitally or by hand) a plusĀ 

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field from an accredited schoolĀ 

  • 5+ years of post-grad interior design experienceĀ 

  • Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D, Rhino, Grasshopper, and other modeling software programsĀ 

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)Ā 

  • Graphics and visualization skills to effectively communicate design ideasĀ 

  • Demonstrated commitment to sustainability and sustainable building practices required. -Portfolios should include at least 1 project with this particular focus, and candidates should be prepared to talk to this in their interview, especially built projects with LEED, Living Building Challenge, WELL Building Standard, Fitwell and /or Net Zero Building certification.Ā

**The base salary range will be estimated between $80,000 - $110,000 plus bonuses and benefits and contingent on relevant experience.
