An annual base salary range up to $75,000 is what we expect to pay for this position, based on overall skills and experience.

What you’ll do:

  • Generate residential mortgage applications for homebuyers in the New York market, with a focus on low-to-moderate income homebuyers.

  • Develop and strengthen existing Realtor and Centers of Influence (COI) relationships to increase mortgage application referral sources.

  • Partner with local non-profits and participate in homebuyer education workshops throughout the New York market.

  • Develop productive working relationships with local branch teams and referral sources across the Bank to drive mortgage growth.

What do you need?

  • Knowledge of PHFA, FHA, Conventional, VA and RD loan programs

  • Good written and verbal communication skills

  • High level of customer service skills

  • Keep abreast of industry changes and updates

  • Knowledge of regulations pertaining to residential mortgage originations such as, but not limited to, Fair Lending, Reg C, Reg Z

  • Minimum of 3 years residential mortgage loan origination experience

  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred

Technology Skills:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft – Word and Excel

  • Exposure to loan operating systems – Encompass a plus
