Your Opportunity
We are seeking a Transportation Analyst to join our multidisciplinary team in the New York City office. Ideal candidates will have 1-2 years of experience in transportation engineering, statistics, math or economics. The team specializes in traffic and revenue forecasting for toll facilities across the United States, offering a unique blend of transportation engineering, planning, and economics expertise. We emphasize training, collaboration, and interpersonal connections, which are strengthened by working side-by-side with colleagues. This is a hybrid role, requiring a minimum of three days per week in the office.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Assist in analyzing traffic data and toll facility transaction data.Â
- Conduct specialized toll facility analyses, including feasibility studies, investment-grade traffic and revenue studies, toll rate analyses, customer behavior assessments, net revenue evaluations, and toll diversion modeling.
- Perform transportation planning studies, traffic impact studies, traffic operations analyses, and speed studies.
- Develop plans for collecting traffic and toll facility transaction data.
- Create long-term traffic and revenue forecasts for toll roads.
- Draft technical memoranda and reports.
