This position will assist Medical Directors with monitoring all aspects of emergency department management to include core measures and arranging and documenting meetings.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsibilities:
- Gather and prepare charts for billing according to Revenue Cycle Services requirements.
- Collaborate with Physicians in the practice and hospital staff to assure resolution of chart deficiencies in a timely manner.
- Patient complaints or other practice coordinator issues
- Serve as a liaison between SCP Health and hospital personnel involved in medical records process, case management and privileging process for candidates
- Schedule appointments at the request of the Medical Director
- Onsite administrative support of Medical Director
- Responsible for documenting Emergency Department Committee minutes, Leadership meeting minutes
- Conduct PCP Satisfaction, Patient Satisfaction and Case Management surveys
- Daily chart and daily time completions
- Assist with MySCP portal training as well as Tangier training
- Conduct daily operations in regards to physician signatures, physician completion of medical records and physician completion of daily billing
- With the assistance of the Medical Director and Regional Medical Officer prepare required documents, and other items for the Monthly practice meeting.
- Complaint letters from physicians, logs and graphs
- Assist other Physicians in the practice with Administrative responsibilities.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Must be well organized and demonstrate exceptional time management and priority setting skills
- Must be able to communicate effectively with management, staff, physicians and other professionals
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong writing skills
- Strong Interpersonal skills
EDUCATION (Required and/or Preferred):
- High School– Required
- Bachelor's – Preferred
WORK EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Physician Scheduling – 3-4 years of experience
- Admin – Clerical - 3-4 years of experience
- Healthcare – Up to 2 years of experience

Pay Range:
$21.42 - $32.14This range represents the anticipated base salary for this role. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity considerations.
