EyenamicsNY Career Opportunity: Experienced Ophthalmic Technician / Scribe

Location: Forest Hills, New York

This position is for experienced ophthalmic technicians only. Applications without prior ophthalmology or optometry clinical experience will not be considered.

EyenamicsNY is a specialty ophthalmology practice with a strong focus on neuro-ophthalmology and glaucoma management. We are seeking a skilled, detail-oriented ophthalmic technician/scribe to join our clinical team.

Role Responsibilities

Medical scribing during patient encounters, ensuring accurate and efficient documentation
Comprehensive patient workups, including history taking and pre-testing
Diagnostic testing, including visual acuity, autorefraction, and lensometry
Advanced imaging, including OCT and slit-lamp photography
Supporting clinic flow while maintaining exceptional patient care standards

Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)

Prior experience as an ophthalmic technician or ophthalmic scribe
Familiarity with ophthalmic testing and clinical workflows
Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a busy clinic
Excellent communication and professionalism
