ABOUT THIS ROLE

We are seeking a real estate accounting intern to perform property reporting, corporate

accounting, and accounts payable work. You will be working directly alongside our

Accounts Payable and Property Accountants, gaining direct exposure to full-cycle real

estate accounting and property and corporate operations.


Internship Dates/Duration: 17 weeks, starting in early September, 2026, with

possible extension to the Spring semester. Part time. Number of Positions Open: 1


Some of the things you’ll be working on include:

ï‚· Assisting property accountants in financial reporting duties.

ï‚· Preparing reconciliations of accounts.

ï‚· Supporting the corporate accounts payable function processes and efficiency.

ï‚· Assisting the Accounting Manager and Director of Finance with Ad Hoc projects.


ABOUT YOU AND WHAT YOU OFFER

ï‚· Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting or finance

ï‚· Genuine interest in the operations of multifamily real estate and an eagerness to

learn about real world practice of accounting.

ï‚· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

ï‚· Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

ï‚· Ability to work independently and collaboratively as needed.

ï‚· Highly driven, organized, analytical, and detail oriented.

ï‚· Strong work ethic, integrity, and commitment to meet deadlines.

The compensation for this position is $28/hr. As this is a seasonal position that does not

meet the requirements of a regular full-time position, no benefits are offered with the

exception of what is mandated by federal and state regulations.
