Guest Relations Event Staff/Ambassador

Description:

Our Guest Relations team is committed to providing all of our Guests with a safe, pleasant and memorable experience during baseball games as well as all major non-baseball events at Yankee Stadium.  Ambassadors are responsible for delivering respectful, consistent and courteous service and accurate information related to Yankee Stadium’s amenities, policies and to the history and traditions of our organization.


Essential Functions: 

  • Be proactive and personable in greeting and assisting our Guests with various inquiries as this position requires extensive contact with our Guests
  • Provide accurate stadium information and direct our Guests accordingly
  • Resolve our Guest conflicts with delicate concern, while adhering to and enforcing stadium policies and procedures
  • Publicize various points of interest available for the enjoyment and entertainment of our Guests       
  • Other related duties as needed

 
Experience and Requirements: 

  • Prior customer service experience (entry level or supervisory) preferred but not required
  • Ability to work flexible hours in an outside stadium environment
  • Must have a positive attitude and must possess outstanding communication skills
  • Requires attention to detail and ability to adapt to changing and high pressure situations
  • Must become familiar with the Stadium’s policies, procedures and how to navigate the building 
  • Must have the ability to anticipate needs, assess situations and act accordingly
  • Required to work autonomously as well as in a team setting in a respectful and courteous manner

 
 The hourly rate for this position is $17.50/hour.
