THE ROLE

Staten Island FerryHawks Stadium is seeking an energetic and skilled Bartender to provide outstanding beverage service at one of Staten Island’s premier sports and entertainment venues, located along the scenic waterfront. This role is critical in creating an enjoyable experience for fans by preparing and serving drinks efficiently and safely during games and events.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages quickly and accurately
• Provide friendly, attentive, and professional service to all guests
• Operate cash registers and POS systems to process transactions
• Monitor guest consumption and follow responsible alcohol service guidelines
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including tools and supplies
• Restock ingredients, garnishes, and beverages as needed during events
• Assist with setup and breakdown of bar stations before and after events
• Check identification to ensure compliance with legal drinking age requirements
• Communicate effectively with other concession and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service

• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and stadium policies
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and stadium procedures
• Practice safe work habits and complete company and venue safety and general position compliance training
• Maintain a pleasant and collaborative attitude towards customers, co-workers, and management
• Adheres to the Legends Global and venue company policies
• Complete other duties assigned by management
• Available to work none-traditional hours (Nights, Weekends & Holidays)

• Previous bartending or beverage service experience preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Knowledge of drink preparation, recipes, and responsible alcohol service
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Dependable, professional, and team-oriented with a positive attitude

COMPENSATION

Competitive hourly rate of $14.05 per hour, commensurate with experience, and a generous benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and 401k plan.
