Actively takes orders, conducts full and complete beverage/food service, and monitors guests’ lounge/bar experience. Interacts with the lounge/bar guests, fellow team members, and supervisors in a polite and courteous manner to ensure gracious hospitality.Â

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:Â
Â
Anticipate and accommodate all needs of the guestsÂ
Provides professional and exceptional serviceÂ
Presents menus, answers questions, and makes suggestions for all beverage and food itemsÂ
Inform guests of all food and beverage specials, with pricesÂ
Required to solicit any allergy or dietary restrictions from each guestÂ
Accurately enters all orders into the POS systemÂ
Ensures the delivery of all food and beverage to the guestsÂ
Maintain general cleanliness of assigned stations and the entire venueÂ
Reports all breakage, and damage of equipment or furniture immediately to managementÂ
Follow supervisor’s instructions, communicate with and support co-workers, and be a team playerÂ
Possesses in-depth knowledge of all food and beverage menus and the companyÂ
Serves all beverages in accordance with all state regulations and alcohol awareness training standardsÂ
Follows all company procedures when providing bottle serviceÂ
Follows proper cash/payment card proceduresÂ
Complies with Department of Health and company sanitation standardsÂ
Accurately completes all end-of-shift financial proceduresÂ
Communicates the needs of the guests to Front-of-House and Heart-of-House support staff, managers, and chefsÂ
Properly sets-up cocktail lounge/bar and side stations, performs side-work and other opening/closing procedures as directed by management, including:Â Â
Ensures all lounge furniture is clean and free of debrisÂ
Sets tables with proper settingsÂ
Stocks side-stations with prescribed supplies Â
Completes opening duties as assigned or directed.Â
Completes closing duties as assigned or directed.Â
Attends and participates in daily pre-service meetingsÂ
Attends and participates in any training sessions or departmental meetingsÂ
Learn by listening, observing other team members, and sharing knowledge while leading by exampleÂ
Portrays a positive and professional attitudeÂ
Demonstrates knowledge of Tao Group Hospitality, its partners, and supporting hotel environmentsÂ
Works as part of a team and provides help and support to all team membersÂ
Assist and/ or complete additional tasks as assignedÂ

Tao Group Hospitality in-venue cocktail server trainingÂ

EDUCATION/WORKING KNOWLEDGE:Â
Previous hospitality experience preferredÂ
Previous cocktail server or floor server experience preferredÂ
Experience in a high-volume restaurant/nightclub/loungeÂ
