The Mid-Mile Driver drives the truck from Long Island City to NYC. Once the truck is unloaded at the assigned locations, the truck heads back to Long Island City, Queens. WHAT YOU WILL DO AT DUTCHX: DutchX is looking for Non-CDL Box Truck Drivers with knowledge of New York to transport packages with timeliness and professionalism. Here is a sampling of some of the responsibilities: Responsible for safe, inter-state transport of pre-loaded client merchandise Unloading client merchandise at work site Completing safety inspections at start of shifts Ensuring packages are delivered on-time and safely Clearly and effectively communicating with clients and team Thrive in a fast-paced environment Flexibility to meet the operating needs of the company OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR YOU: Physical requirements: Ability to drive for extended periods of time Ability to push, pull, turn, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50Ibs in weight to the appropriate destination within a scheduled time Ability to adhere to established safety guidelines Qualifications Must be 21 years of age or older 1-2  years of box truck driving experience (required) Valid driver’s license Medical DOT card required or ability to obtain it High School or equivalent degree (preferred) DutchX is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
