Job Description

This is a Part-Time Walker Delivery Associate position with JNJ Delivery LLC an Amazon Delivery Service Partner

We are looking for people who can Interact in a professional and positive manner with colleagues, Amazon customers, and the public.

In this role you will deliver Amazon packages from a designated location in Manhattan to various customers. You will be working with a team of Walker Delivery Associates to deliver all packages for the company. We need Reliable, Team oriented, Hard workers who pay attention to details, can quickly problem solve a wide range of situations and win in a fast-paced environment!

Ideal candidates are enthusiastic, communicate effectively, and are ready to get the job done.

Successful Walkers enjoy working with a team, put safety first, and care deeply about customer expectations and satisfaction.

Benefits and Scheduling:

• STARTING at $17.50 / hour (paid Weekly)
• Paid training
• 7-hour shifts are typical. Start time is 1:00PM
• 2-5-day workweek is typical, but there is flexibility 
• Must work one weekend day per week
• Daytime shift, you will be home at night
• Paid time off begins accruing immediately at start of employment

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Safely deliver packages and follow customer instructions
• Provide excellent customer service despite stressful events / conditions
• Keep pace in physically demanding job; work in ALL weather conditions; lift packages (up to 50 lbs.); with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Communicate effectively with support team, leadership, and other Walker Delivery Associates to provide exceptional customer service and ensure deliveries are completed
• Use smart phone device for GPS Navigation, scanning packages, conducting administrative requirements such as clocking in/out, and communicate with supervisors and other team members
• Walk 6-10 miles in a shift
• Support the team in daily work requirements including assisting other Walker Delivery Associates completing their routes. Must work on Buddy Routes and Rescues.

Qualifications

What You’ll Need as a Delivery Associate/Foot Courier

• Must be at 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must have ONE of the following:  a valid state ID, Drivers License or US passport
• Must have good English speaking, reading, writing / communication skills
