Part‑Time Office Cleaner
Position Summary:
Join a small medical office team as a part‑time cleaning attendant responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe clinical environment. Supplies and equipment provided. No benefits.
Join a small medical office team as a part‑time cleaning attendant responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe clinical environment. Supplies and equipment provided. No benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and disinfect exam rooms, waiting area, reception, restrooms, and staff areas.
- Empty trash, replace liners, and handle medical waste per office procedure.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and spot‑clean floors and surfaces.
- Clean and sanitize high‑touch surfaces (doorknobs, counters, chairs, keyboards where applicable).
- Restock paper goods, soap, and other supplied cleaning materials.
- Report maintenance issues and supply needs to office manager.
- Follow all office infection‑control and HIPAA‑related privacy policies.
Requirements:
- Prior commercial or medical office cleaning experience preferred but not required; training provided.
- Ability to lift 25–30 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform physical cleaning tasks.
- Reliable, punctual, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently.
- Comfortable following cleaning protocols for healthcare settings (infection control).
- Background check required.
Schedule:
- Twice weekly: Wednesday afternoons (starting ~2:00–5:00 PM) and one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday, 8:00 AM–12:00 PM or similar). Flexible start times can be discussed.
Compensation:
- Average pay: $17 per hour (commensurate with experience and local market). Estimated weekly hours: ~6–8. No benefits.
