Job DetailsJob Location: Upper East Side - New York City, NY 10028Position Type: Full-Time/Part-TimeEducation Level: High School or Equivalent / GEDSalary Range: $21.00 - $24.00 HourlyYou are responsible for ensuring that all of the dogs in Biscuits & Bath’s care are receiving a well-rounded program of wellness and preventative medical care. You are also responsible for developing and strengthening client relationships. Key Responsibilities: Assist Veterinarians with administering medications and drawing blood (under direct supervision of Veterinarian) Restraining animals for procedures Assist in surgeries Cleaning and upkeep of Veterinarian offices as needed Light clerical duties as needed Relationship Development Cultivating relationships with all clients Communicating with clients on a daily basis in the lobby and by phone Returning all client calls same day Distributing topical information to the entire client base   Qualifications High School diploma or GED. One to two years of related experience. Genuine interest in the well-being of dogs. Ability to juggle a variety of responsibilities, while balancing competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Excellent interpersonal and communication (both verbal and written) skills. Strong attention to detail. Must be physically fit to lift dogs 50+ lbs, kneel, stand for long periods of time and perform requirements of the job.
