Respiratory Therapist

• The Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide clinical care under the direct/indirect supervision of the Director of Respiratory and/or Respiratory Supervisor/Lead Therapist. At the request of the physician, the Registered Respiratory Therapist will set up and operate various types of respiratory care equipment that are utilized in the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory disease and/or illness.

Candidates must have:
• Current NY State License to practice as a Respiratory Therapist
• Graduate from an AMA approved Respiratory Therapist program • Associates degree is required
• Must have a minimim of 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in a hospital setting• National Board Respiratory Care (NBRC) registration
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

• Certificate of Fitness issued by the Fire Department of New York City G-71, WIthin the first year of employment.
