About The Position
We are seeking a Psychiatrist for a locum tenens assignment in New York, focusing on adult inpatient psychiatric care. This role involves joining a skilled team within a psychiatric unit, providing essential mental health services. The assignment offers a structured work schedule and the opportunity to work alongside other experienced physicians, enhancing both patient outcomes and professional development.

- Provider Type Needed: Psychiatrist
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide psychiatric care in an inpatient unit
- Work collaboratively with a team of other psychiatrists
- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with various mental health conditions
- Document and manage patient care using Sunrise Clinical Manager EMR system
- Ensure adherence to facility guidelines and standards of psychiatric care
Additional Information
- Must be board certified in Psychiatry
- Valid New York medical license required
- Experience in adult inpatient psychiatry preferred
