What You’ll DoÂ
The SEO Associate Director is central to the SEO team and is responsible for the overall management and success of our clients’ organic search programs. The SEO Associate Director position will have reports at the analyst and senior analyst levels. The responsibilities will differ from client to client, and in general, the typical breakdown of the SEO Manager’s core activities will be as follows:Â
Strategy development: 30%Â
Client Management: 30%Â
Technical Consultation/Implementation Support: 15%Â
Reporting: 10%Â
Evangelism/Education: 10%Â
New Business: 5%Â
Strategy generation & execution across multiple clientsÂ
Project manage and work with multiple teams, including technical teams, to determine & build strategies for technical SEO implementationÂ
Work in conjunction with predefined SEO campaign objectivesÂ
Perform client work outlined in coordination with other media teamsÂ
Work with multiple levels of agency teams to provide the best organic search experience possibleÂ

A strong project manager with practiced delegation skills, to ensure deliverables are being collaboratively developed with the appropriate level of guidance, meeting client deadlines and quality standardsÂ
A supporter of and advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusionÂ
Preferred Skills & ExperienceÂ
6+ years’ work experience in SEO, part of which was in supporting enterprise clientsÂ
Expert knowledge of all aspects of SEO, as well as solid understanding of all digital media disciplinesÂ
Expert knowledge of Google Analytics and Microsoft Office ApplicationsÂ
A comprehensive understanding of key search engine ranking factorsÂ
Familiarity with Screaming Frog, MOZ, SEMRush, Brightedge, Conductor, and/or other industry toolsÂ
Ability to conduct relevant keyword research and make recommendationsÂ
A thorough understanding of and the ability to conduct detailed on-site optimizationÂ
Ability to interpret analytics data and identify actionable opportunitiesÂ
Proven ability to autonomously manage an ongoing SEO campaignÂ
Knowledge of the inner workings of local search & local rankingsÂ
Experience with local listings management (LLM) and local SEOÂ
A solid understanding of CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization / A/B Testing) is a plusÂ
Working knowledge of HTML, PHP, Javascript, and/or CSS is a plusÂ
Certificates, Licenses and Registrations Â
Google Analytics Certification is helpfulÂ
Brightedge Certification is a big plusÂ
Physical Activity and Work EnvironmentÂ
No physical activity required. Some travel may be required for trade shows, publisher/client visits, etc. Â

Salary Range
