Job Overview
The role involves developing and implementing comprehensive PPC strategies for key categories and products to drive sales, revenue growth, and efficiency. The Senior PPC Manager will conduct keyword research and analysis, manage, and optimize campaigns across various platforms, and utilize analytics tools to track performance and report on key metrics to senior management. The role requires collaboration with the site-merchandisers and other cross functional teams to align campaigns with broader marketing initiatives, as well as managing and mentoring junior members of the PPC team. The Senior PPC Manager will also collaborate with internal teams to ensure landing pages, ad copy, including promotions are optimized for conversions.  Develop and maintain investments.  Ongoing optimization strategies will be implemented to continuously improve campaign performance, and the Senior PPC Manager will stay up-to-date with emerging PPC technologies and techniques to ensure the company stays ahead of the competition.
What You Will Do
- Develop and implement comprehensive PPC strategies for retail products to drive sales and revenue growth, leveraging industry experienceÂ
- Manage and optimize campaigns, including feeds across various platforms, including Google Ads, Bing Ads, with a deep understanding of each platform's unique features and nuancesÂ
- Manage and optimize app campaigns, across various platforms, including Google Ads, ASA, with a deep understanding of each platform's unique features and nuancesÂ
- Utilize Adobe Analytics and other analytics tools to track campaign performance, identify areas for improvement, and report on key metrics to senior management in a clear and concise mannerÂ
- Work closely with the marketing team to align PPC campaigns with broader marketing initiatives, major shopping and sale events. Ensure messaging is consistent and compelling, leveraging expertise in retail industry trends and consumer behaviorÂ
- Monitor industry trends and stay up-to-date with emerging PPC technologies and techniques, providing thought leadership to the broader marketing organizationÂ
- Manage and mentor junior members of the PPC team, providing guidance and support as needed, while also serving as a key contributor to broader marketing team initiativesÂ
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as creative, development, and e-commerce, to ensure landing pages and ad copy are optimized for conversions, leveraging extensive experience in A/B testing and conversion rate optimizationÂ
- Develop and manage PPC budgets, ensuring campaigns are profitable and within established financial guidelines, while also identifying opportunities for growth and expansion of campaign effortsÂ
- Develop ad hoc testing and performance improvement plans to help achieve revenue and efficiency targetsÂ
- Conduct ongoing optimization strategies to continuously improve campaign performance, while also identifying opportunities for innovation and experimentation to stay ahead of the competitionÂ
Skills You Will Need
• Experience managing large scale complex omni-channel retail campaigns with a proven ability to improve click share, traffic, conversions, sales, and ROASÂ
• Experience optimizing across consumer journey (awareness, consideration, and demand) against key KPIs (CPA, CPI, ROAS, ROI, etc.)Â
• Ability to leverage analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis to identify trends and provide perspective recommendations. Proven ability to execute recommendations.Â
• Experience working with various attribution systems and platforms, i.e., Adobe, Google Analytics, etc.Â
• Hands on experience with Skai platform (formerly Kenshoo), and shopping feed management tools like ProductsUpÂ
• Experience in testing and experimenting with different ad formats or hypothesis to optimize campaign performanceÂ
• Experience leading conversations with senior leadership and cross-function teamsÂ
• Have strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and initiatives simultaneously, ensuring that each is completed, at times against competing deadlinesÂ
• Practices open and continuous communication, values keeping others informed, effectively presenting information in a clear, concise manner.Â
• Excellent leadership, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across functional lines and at many levelsÂ
• Experience with team management with an ability to lead and manage a team of associates and specialist, providing guidance, coaching and feedback as neededÂ
• Ability to think creatively, strategically, and technicallyÂ
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and Company needsÂ
Who You Are
- Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field are encouraged to apply. MBA preferred.Â
- 5 plus years of experience in SEM and online marketing in-house (preferred) or at an agency/consultancy.
- Regularly required to sit, talk, hear; use hands/fingers to touch, handle, and feel. Occasionally required to move about the workplace and reach with hands and arms. Requires close vision.
- Able to work a flexible schedule based on department and company needs.
