What You’ll Do Â
Campaign Management & Execution – 25% Â
Lead RFP creation and review of social partners, compile proposal analysis, and drive partner negotiations Â
Oversee and manage buys from set-up to keyword selection, through to targeting buckets, optimization, and pacing/ reportingÂ
Determine set-up, including testing methodologies, reporting requirements, and optimization requirements, for ensuring full impact and efficiency of each campaignÂ
Lead the monitoring and reporting of campaign performance and proactively communicate any issues to internal team and client, when necessaryÂ
Oversee trafficking and site tagging, follow through to ensure sites are enabled, and functioning properly, QA’ing all pixelsÂ
QA junior team members work and help provide trainings for seamless executionÂ
Issue specs documents and ensure all materials are received from creative agencyÂ
Work alongside Digital team on post campaign reconciliation and billingÂ
Social Media Strategy – 20%Â
Take part in developing strategic social plans in tandem with the Digital & Business Solutions teamsÂ
Integrate social insights into overall planning process, integrating data, research, and analytics into recommendationsÂ
Partner closely with other Horizon Next teams (Business Solutions, Investment, etc.) towards 360 relationships, incorporating relevant extensionsÂ
Participate in team brainstorms to kick off plan and consideration set developmentÂ
Take lead with Supervisor on new vendor discovery and outreach for innovative tacticsÂ
Monitor trends, tools, opportunities and emerging opportunities within paid social mediaÂ
Create and present media specific documents such as media plans, objectives and strategies decks, and other related functionsÂ
Reporting & Analysis – 30% Â
Combine data analysis and client feedback to pull together recommendations and optimizations; configure, operate, and optimize campaigns to meet client objectivesÂ
Provide active voice in optimization strategies, proactively communicating challenges and opportunities to both internal teams and clientsÂ
Use data during and after campaigns to optimize and draw greater conclusions about clients’ business goals and objectivesÂ
Work with junior team members to parse through large datasets to provide critical thinking and analysis, as well as draw conclusions and discover actionable implicationsÂ
Collaborate with Horizon Next Analytics & Business Intelligence teams to aggregate data and ensure standardization across Next accounts Â
Take lead and refine skills on reporting calls, delivering impactful insights to clientsÂ
Responsible for providing data for dashboards/Excel trackers, as needed by account, ensuring accuracy and validity of data shownÂ
Relationship Management – 15%Â
Ensures collaboration with key partners during planning process, including Partners, Creative Agencies and Business Solutions teamÂ
Collaborate with Supervisor to identify problems and recommend solutionsÂ
Keep Supervisor updated on the status and timing of deliverablesÂ
Engage and effectively interact with other Horizon Next departments, i.e. Business Solutions, Traffic, Operations Â
Apply knowledge of current/previous clients’ specific business and industry to enhance and further relationshipsÂ
Mentorship & Team Management – 10% Â
Contribute to other junior team member(s) development (train Assistant Planners, onboard new Planners)Â
Conduct learning sessions for junior team members on an ongoing basisÂ
Participate in interview process for junior team members roles Â
Provide education and training on best practices, media principals, and industry at large  Â

Preferred Skills & ExperienceÂ
1.5+ years previous paid social media experienceÂ
Knowledge of advanced analytics and performance mediaÂ
Familiarity with marketing principles, analytics and conceptsÂ
Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint skillsÂ
Experience buying ads on Facebook and Instagram is crucial, additional platforms preferred Â
Comfort owning and managing budget/investment levels in social mediaÂ

Salary Range: $1,275 to $1,634.62 a week. A successful applicant’s actual weekly or hourly rate may vary based upon, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure/certifications, and equity.Â
