About The Position
We are seeking a qualified Dermatology Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens assignment in New York. The role involves working closely with a supportive team, where the Nurse Practitioner will interact directly with patients to assess their dermatological conditions, develop treatment plans, and perform procedures such as biopsies. This position offers a focused yet dynamic environment suited for a professional looking to apply their medical and surgical dermatology experience.

- Provider Type Needed: Dermatology Nurse Practitioner
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Responsibilities and Duties
- Conduct patient interviews, assessments, and examinations to diagnose skin conditions.
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Perform dermatological procedures, including biopsies, as required.
- Collaborate with medical assistants who will prepare the patients and manage medical histories.
- Maintain detailed patient records using the Modernizing Medicine EMR system.
- Ensure high standards of care and adhere to all safety and health regulations.
Additional Information
- Must be licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in New York.
- Experience in medical and surgical dermatology is essential.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills are crucial.
