Sonic Summary

The O.R. Technician will support surgeons by preparing patients and ensuring aseptic techniques during surgeries.
Candidates are required to have a high school diploma or GED and must have graduated from an Operating Room Technician Program or an equivalent program.
Certification as a Surgical Technician is necessary for this position.
Applicants must possess at least 1 year of experience as an Operating Room Technician or have demonstrated operative case scrub experience.
BLS Certification is also required for this role, although the salary is not specified in the job description.

The O.R. Technician will assist surgeons with draping the patient and maintaining principles of aseptic technique and instrumentation and supplies required to execute a safe and expedient surgical procedure.

Qualifications

Candidates must have:
• HS Diploma/GED
• Graduation from Operating Room Technician Program or equivalent
• Certification as Surgical Technician • 1 year of experience as an Operating Room Technician or demonstrated ability to perform operative case scrub experience
• BLS Certification
