Sonic Summary

The O.R. Technician will support surgeons by preparing patients and ensuring aseptic techniques are followed during surgical procedures.
Candidates are required to have a high school diploma or GED and must have graduated from an Operating Room Technician Program or an equivalent program.
Certification as a Surgical Technician is necessary, along with at least 1 year of experience as an Operating Room Technician or relevant scrub experience.
A Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification is also required for this position.

The O.R. Technician will assist surgeons with draping the patient and maintaining principles of aseptic technique and instrumentation and supplies required to execute a safe and expedient surgical procedure.

Qualifications

Candidates must have:
• HS Diploma/GED
• Graduation from Operating Room Technician Program or equivalent
• Certification as Surgical Technician • 1 year of experience as an Operating Room Technician or demonstrated ability to perform operative case scrub experience
• BLS Certification
