Sonyās Global Information Systems & Communications (GISC)Ā teamĀ is responsible forĀ the design, installation, and day-to-day operational support of Sonyās regional enterprise network environment and is looking to hire aĀ Senior Network Engineer (Manager).Ā The roleĀ willĀ be responsible forĀ designing, diagnosing,Ā supportingĀ and managing the advanced infrastructure of the network services to ensure the stable operation of the organizationās IT assets, related services, and to introduceĀ new technologyĀ that enables our group companies to deliver on their vision. This includes developing, configuring,Ā maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all new and existing network service hardware, software, and communication links. This role is also responsible for monitoring tools, data center connectivity,Ā firewalls,Ā and security related integration and management.āÆĀ

This position requires an individual who knows their way around an active and rapidly evolving environment and is proficient in all aspects of network installations, integrations, migrations, turn-upĀ and troubleshooting. This role has a part of creating advanced networking solutions to support business requirements that align to strategy and achieve the goals and vision of IC. JOB RESPONSIBILITIESĀ
Collaboratively design and implement short- and long-term plans to meet and exceed network capacity and future technology requirements.āÆĀ
Develop, implement,Ā maintainĀ standardsĀ documents, policies and runbooks for network resource administration andĀ appropriate use.āÆĀ
Practice network asset monitoring and management, including maintenance of networkĀ componentĀ inventory, life cycleĀ managementĀ and related documentation.āÆĀ
Provide āownershipā of problemĀ thruĀ final resolution.āÆĀ
Plan,Ā acquire, and coordinate installation of in-house and remote hardware and software across the organizationās network.āÆĀ
Manage and ensureĀ optimalĀ operation of all network hardware and equipment, including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, etc.āÆĀ
Manage and ensure the effectiveness of security solutions, such as next-generation firewalls,Ā Prisma Access,Ā SSLĀ Decrypt.āÆĀ
Test network performance and provide network performance statistics and reports; develop strategies forĀ maintainingĀ the network infrastructure.āÆĀ
Establish andĀ maintainĀ regular written and in-person communications with the organizationās department heads, projectĀ managersĀ and end usersĀ regardingĀ pertinent network activities.āÆĀ
Collaboratively work and exchange knowledge with other members of the team.āÆĀ
Manage the day-to-day operations of business as usual, including tickets and SLA.āÆāÆĀ

QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITIONĀ
Your qualifications and experience should include:āÆĀ
BachelorāsĀ degree is preferred in the field of computer science or other related academic fields, or equivalent certifications or demonstrated experience.āÆĀ
5+Ā years of related work experience in all major networking and related technology conceptsĀ required; this includes managing and configuring enterprise-wide LANs, WANs, WLANs,Ā DDI, Firewalls, etc.āÆĀ
Demonstrated experienceĀ with deploying, managing, and monitoring Intent Based networks withĀ demonstratedĀ experience with NAC.Ā
Demonstrated experience with Cisco ACI and/or SD-Access or SD-WAN including tools like DNAC, ISE,Ā vManage.āÆāÆĀ
Demonstrated experience withĀ NGFW likeĀ Palo Alto Networks SASE, Prisma Access, Zero Trust Network ArchitectureāÆĀ
Exceptional knowledge of service and application delivery.Ā
Up-to-date knowledge of current protocols and standards, including Core Switching/Routing, SSL/IPSec,Ā Ā RemoteĀ access technologies,Ā Ā
Hands-on experience troubleshooting all network services hardware from physicalĀ layerĀ up the stack.āÆĀ
Knowledge and understanding of data flows, advanced networking concepts.Ā
Experience installing and managing network infrastructureĀ in customer environments.āÆĀ

TheĀ anticipatedĀ annual base salary for this position is $135,000 to $150,000.Ā In addition to the annual base salary, this role has an annual bonus target ofĀ 13%.Ā ThisĀ range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for.
