POSITION SUMMARY:Â The intern will work closely with team members on various assignments including social media postings and events, updating media lists, writing assignments for PR team; working with Editorial Content team on Inside BMI content, and various research projects.

FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB
   PR Team:
- Assist with “the Weekly” content research; “Speaker’s Bureau”; press releases, press list; gathering daily news clips.
Â
Editorial Content Team:Â
- Assist with social media projects, editorial content for Inside BMI, and research projects.
Â
- Regular attendance.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Support our BMI Core Values and cultivate a culture of diversity and inclusion.

POSITION QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Â
Education: Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university as an undergraduate student. Must return to school in the Fall of 2026. Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.

Skills and Abilities:Â

- Proficient in Microsoft Suite
- Strong writing ability
- Proficiency in web research
- Detail oriented and strong organizational skills
- Team oriented
- Preferred areas of study or interests: Communications; Marketing; PR; Music Business.
