Position: Ocean Operation Specialist
Location:Â Rosedale, New York
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience in Freight Forwarding/Logistics experience in Ocean operations
- Detail oriented, Self-motivated, Exceptional problem-solving skills
- Must know how to use and organize Microsoft Word, Excel.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Exceptional listening, verbal and written skills
- Exceptional Customer Service skills (verbal and written)
- Good organizational skills and ability to learn and retain information to build core industry related skills.
Responsibilities:
- Ocean Import operations including data entry, customer service, rating, routing, customs documentation preparation
- Arrange & follow up with shipment coordination & daily communication with customers & overseas offices
- Tracking orders processed, issuing invoices for services rendered.
- Monitor shipments and ensuring deliveries are timely
- Maintain compliance of all transportation & security regulations, including customer’s policies and external government regulations
- Communicate effectively with internal departments, other regional branches and offices, and all external contacts
- Other assignments may be directed by the Management
