Job Title: Warehouse Coordinator

Reports To:Â Director of Food and Nutrition Services
Job Description:Â A warehouse coordinator oversees daily warehouse operations, including inventory management, shipping and receiving as well as maintaining a safe and organized environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following but not limited to:
- Organize, monitor and record all incoming and outgoing orders of food, supplies, clothing and other items to make the best use of agency resources. This includes accepting shipments from various food sources and related program supplies.
- Plan and compile shipping sheets and pulls items for shipments to the various program sites.
- Maintain warehouse clean and orderly
- Receive all deliveries at Argus Food and Nutrition Program
- Monitor TMP van service log
- Performing warehouse weekly and monthly inventory
- Preparing and completing warehouse order for delivery or pick up
- Manage and maintain warehouse in order and maintains cleanliness in accordance with health and sanitation regulations.
- Adhere to all Department of Health and OSHA regulations regarding food preparation and storage.
- Report discrepancies to warehouse supervisor
- Follow quality service and comply with procedures
- Other tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- NYC driver's license required.
- Computer literate and experience in planning and organizing, preferably in the field of human services, food and/or hotel-related operations.
- Ability to perform physical activities and capable of safely lifting at least 50 lbs.
- Good interpersonal skills, ability to work collaboratively with others.
- Flexible and able to serve homeless persons, drug and alcohol users, the mentally ill, LGBT persons, persons living with HIV or AIDS who are primarily African American and Latinos.
- Bilingual/Spanish desirable.
