Manufacturing Specialist
Job Summary
Fabuwood is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Manufacturing Specialist to support specialized production operations and help ensure the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and accuracy throughout the manufacturing process. This role plays a key part in maintaining production flow, supporting process improvements, and delivering high-quality finished products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, quality-focused, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative production team.
Key Responsibilities
Production Execution
- Perform specialized manufacturing and production tasks according to company standards and operational procedures
- Follow detailed work instructions, specifications, and production schedules to ensure accurate execution
- Operate production equipment, tools, and machinery safely and efficiently
- Assist with product assembly, fabrication, packaging, or finishing processes as needed
- Maintain productivity while ensuring attention to detail and workmanship quality
Quality Control
- Inspect finished products and components to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
- Identify defects, inconsistencies, or production issues and report concerns to leadership
- Maintain accuracy and consistency throughout all stages of production
- Support quality assurance initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
Process Support
- Assist in improving manufacturing workflows, operational efficiency, and production processes
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines
- Support team productivity through effective communication and cooperation
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all company safety procedures and operational guidelines
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing, production, assembly, or warehouse experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to follow instructions, specifications, and production procedures accurately
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience operating manufacturing equipment or machinery
- Familiarity with quality control procedures and production standards
- Experience in cabinetry, woodworking, or industrial manufacturing environments
