About The Position
We are currently seeking a skilled Urgent Care Physician Assistant to join our team in New Jersey for a locum tenens assignment. This role is ideal for a professional who is adept at urgent care procedures, including suturing and splinting. The assignment starts in the bustling environment of an urgent care center where the demand for healthcare services has increased. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a variety of urgent health conditions, providing COVID-19 related care, and ensuring all patients are seen and treated within scheduled hours.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide immediate care and treatment for patients with urgent health issues.
- Perform essential procedures such as suturing and splinting.
- Manage patient flow to ensure all are seen by the clinic's closing time.
- Handle COVID-19 assessments and related care.
- Maintain accurate patient records using the Epic EMR system.
Additional Information
- Must be licensed to practice as a Physician Assistant in New Jersey.
- Experience in an urgent care setting is highly preferred.
